Current job : Director of G&P Water Sdn Bhd
Biodata : Ir. Lim Sin Poh is a civil engineer who graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) with a B.Eng. (Civil) in 1992 and completed his post-graduate study in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, graduating with a M.Eng.(Civil) in 1994. He has more than 17 years of experiences, with 2 years of research experiences, 4 years of experiences in construction industry and 11 years of experiences in consultancy services. He is currently the Director of G&P Water Sdn Bhd specializing in works pertaining to hydrology, hydraulic, irrigation and water resources.
 
Objectives
• To understand the concept of hydraulic modeling
• To understand the HEC-RAS components
• To know how to prepare necessary data for model setup and simulation.
• To carry out model simulation both steady and unsteady state simulation
• To know how to setup hydraulic structures such as weir, dropped structures, detention ponds etc.
• To know how to interpret the results
• To know the model limitation
